Somnus: Nonogram is a nice adaptation of Nonogram or Picross for touch devices: a puzzle that consists of coloring in the cells on a grid to reveal the drawing they hide. Each solved Nonogram is part of a picture that, when complete, will tell you small stories that you have to uncover.
The gameplay in Somnus: Nonogram is simple: when starting a puzzle, you'll find a grid and several numbers up top and on the left side. These numbers indicate the number of cells that will be shaded in in that direction. If the board is 10x10, the best thing to do is start coloring in the boxes whose number is 10 and then, by elimination, carry on with the rest.
There will be times when instead of finding one number alongside the grid, you'll find two. This means that there are two series of shaded cells in that line, with a white space between them. Nonetheless, if you don't know where the white space is, you'll have to check the rest of the cells so you can be sure you're filling in all the rows and columns on the grid. In the end, you'll find a pixellated picture revealed when you unveil the color of the cells.
Somnus: Nonogram is a fun and different puzzle game with absolutely delightful graphics. A proper treat for lovers of puzzles and pretty graphics.
